Hyperping is one of the better-designed products in this category, and
its free plan is more generous than most people expect - more generous
than ours on two rows of the table below. If this page talks you out of
trying it, it has failed. The real question is which trade you want.

## What does Hyperping's free plan include?

As of August 2026: 20 monitors at 5-minute intervals, one basic status
page, one server agent, one team seat, and alerts by email, Slack, and
Microsoft Teams. Paid begins at Essentials - $29/month, or $24/month
billed annually - which moves you to 50 monitors at 30-second intervals,
a status page on your own domain, SMS, and on-call integrations like
PagerDuty. Pro ($89/month, $74 annually) and Business ($299/month, $249
annually) scale that to 100 and 1,000 monitors, phone-call alerts, and
white-labeling.

## How is YoPingMe different?

Hyperping is a monitoring platform growing toward incident response:
status pages, subscribers, server agents, browser checks. YoPingMe is a
pinger with one structural idea: every check runs from regions you
choose, and an alert waits for a second region to agree.

Read the table both ways: Hyperping's free plan wins on monitor count and
ships a status page today. YoPingMe's free plan answers one question with
unusual rigor: is the site actually down, or does it only look down from
one place? Nothing pages you until a second region agrees, and you pick
which regions watch each monitor.

## When should you pick which?

**Pick Hyperping if** you want a status page today, you monitor servers
with agents or flows with browser checks, or you will grow into 30-second
intervals and on-call tooling. It is a strong product and its free tier
is honestly sized.

**Pick YoPingMe if** you want webhook alerts on a free plan, your pain is
false positives and multi-region consensus is exactly the cure, or you
want a monitor without a platform attached - nothing to grow into,
nothing metering you toward an upgrade.

## How do I switch?

   from both your regions while you type.
2. Recreate HTTP monitors as HTTP checks, content assertions as keyword
   checks, and port checks as TCP. Server agents and browser checks have
   no YoPingMe equivalent - if you use them, keep Hyperping for those;
   the two free plans coexist fine.
3. Point alerts at email, a webhook, or Slack, and compare a few days of
   results before deleting anything.
