Terms of service

Effective 2026-07-28

These terms cover the yoping.me website and the YoPingMe monitoring service at app.yoping.me. Using either means you accept them. How data is handled is documented separately: /privacy for this website, and the app's legal page for the service's data practices.

The service

YoPingMe runs uptime checks - HTTP, keyword, SSL, ping, and TCP - against endpoints you configure, and alerts you when they fail. The free plan is the only plan today; its current limits are listed on the homepage. The service will evolve. When these terms or the plans change in a way that matters, the effective date above changes and we post about it on the blog.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe and your alert email real - alerts are the whole point. You're responsible for what happens under your account. To close it, email abuse@yoping.me.

Acceptable use

We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where it's reasonable, we'll reach out first.

Reliability, honestly

The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep checks running and alerts flowing, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service, and a missed or delayed alert is possible - monitoring tools can go down too. Don't make YoPingMe your only line of defense for systems where a missed alert endangers people or serious money.

Liability

To the extent the law allows: our total liability for claims related to the service is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim - on the free plan, that's zero. Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential damages.

Your data and ours

Your monitor configurations and alert destinations are yours; we process them only to run the service. The content on this site - guides, tools, design - is ours: link to it freely, don't republish it wholesale. The YoPingMe name and logo are ours too.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, and disputes belong to the competent courts in Israel.
